aeroDAC signs up to export scheme

17 March 2009
A West Sussex aerospace firm has signed up to a government export programme, as it increases its international presence.

aeroDAC has joined the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) South East's Passport to Export initiative, which provides companies looking to connect with businesses worldwide with support and advice.

The European Aviation Safety Agency approved organisation, which specialises in certification compliance for aircraft, will work with the public sector group for a period of 12 to 18 months.

Cark Thomas, Certification Director at aeroDAC, explained that the aviation firm has already benefited from exports.

He said: "The UK market is fairly quiet at the moment, so it's very useful to be involved overseas.

"It's something we would have done at some point, but it's particularly useful to be out there now."

The South East branch of the UKTI dedicates its resources to increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in the region.ADNFCR-1584-ID-19078253-ADNFCR
